Senior Security Consultant / Security Consultant

Responsibilities:

Performing high quality security and project management consulting services
Managing and/or participating in projects to design, analyze, implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and document information system security.
Helping analyze requests for proposals and preparing technical proposals.
Maintaining cutting-edge knowledge in the areas of security analysis, design, and configuration.
Other duties as required to further the business goals of the company.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent working experience.
Experience in IT Security, Professional security certification such as CISSP, GIAC, etc would be advantageous.
Between 2 – 5 years work experience in IT Security.
Skilled and knowledgeable in two or more of the following areas :
- Intrusion, Detection, Threat Analysis, Firewall, IDS, Incident Response handling
- Virus Control, PKI, VPN, Cryptography, Network Security and Operating System Security
Experience in WINDOWS (Win9x/NT2000/XP) and UNIX (Solaris/Linux/HP-UX/AIX) is preferred.
Passionate interest in IT Security and possess initiative to keep up with current IT trend.
Enjoys working in a challenging environment.
Good communications and writing skills.
A team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
